I used to love visiting James Lane—whether to shop or simply browse for inspiration. Over the years, I’ve purchased most of my furniture from this store and always appreciated the quality and style. However, my recent experience left me deeply disappointed. I have purchased several items from this shop but my experience with their customer service and the products themselves was terrible. They charged me for delivery twice; no indication when we will get our items; no One could understand us/ english. Then there was the products- the dining table cannot be in contact with anything basically without staining or leaving marks including water. I was looking for a Bed for my Daughter. Wasn’t really sure what to get. I was served by sales consultant Ronny and he was so great to deal with. I ended up buying a beautiful bed and artwork that was on clearance. The following week I decided on getting a side table added to my order. The sale on this had evfrd but they honoured the original price and also managed to get it delivered along with the bed saving me time and money. Very happy
I am extremely disappointed with the service from this store. I ordered and paid for a sofa and was clearly promised delivery on a specific date, just four days after my purchase. I arranged my day around this and waited half a day for the delivery, only to realize I had received no message or notification.
