It's taken me a long time to decide to write this review, but 2.5 years after my wedding and I'm trying to print canvases and both Vista and Kmart say my prints are too low resolution for a 90x40 canvas. When I received my photos I was underwhelmed to say the least. So many shots could have been amazing if he just directed me to move my head, tilt etc. No one want a double chin in their wedding photos. James is an accomplished photography professional. His workshop was very well organised. James is helpful, friendly, and generous with his time. The stand out for me was James' ability to teach, conveying skills and knowledge with enthusiasm and patience. The workshop more than met my expectations, it was fun, and a truly valuable photographic learning experience.

Doesn’t matter if your a beginner or experienced photographer, James’s workshops have something for everyone. His knowledge and understanding of composition and light is fantastic and the workshops are great value for money. I can highly recommend the workshops. It has definitely improved my photography.

What do i recommend about James Harvie? Perhaps his extreme attention to detail. His professionalism. His easy going personality. He asks for no silly poses. He's willingness to run off into the distance just so he can look back and get that long scenic shot. His passion shines through in not only his demeanor but his photos too.
