I have used James Guthrie and Co on two occasions now. The first was to make a will during Make a Will Fortnight which sees the fee being donated to Ayrshire Hospice. The other was for the discharge of my mortgage. Both encounters were very straightforward and all the staff I dealt with were extremely kind and caring. Email exchanges were also very straightforward and pleasant. Thanks to Lilia for keeping me right with appointments. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs legal help.
Could not be more disappointed with this firm. I had an appointment for 2pm with Alison Kelly. I had a problem with my car and had to phone the AA, I contacted James Guthrie to ask if 2.15pm would be acceptable as I would need to get a taxi to which I was told yes, she even went to check that this would be ok. I was told she had another appointment at 3pm so as long as i wasn't too late that would be fine.I arrived at 2.17pm to be told she was in another meeting now and couldn't see me. We picked James Guthrie to help us with 2 house sales and 1 purchase and it was one of the best decisions we made.
