My wife's mother recently passed away and we brought the kitchen table and chairs from Houston to use in our house. The kitchen table had a Formica top so we ended up paying 2350 to have the table and chairs refinished an a new maple top constructed. The first time he came the table had tons of little chips and tear out from using a planar with dull blades. He didn't get all the old varnish off of the chairs and there is overspray everywhere. A hole in the wall shop on the industrial area on Basse Road and San Pedro. Did a great job fixing my torn up caned chairs. Decided to remove the weave and replace with seat cushions. Very comfortable now. Reasonably priced and his shop has tons of antique, solid wood furnishings. Glad Angie's List referred him to me...
