I had my taxes completed at Jackson Hewitt at Walmart in Taylors, SC. The preparer that assisted me was very knowledgeable and confident. He also had a great personality. It did not take long for him to complete my return.
I have been using JH for 8 years now, and unfortunately had a not-so-great experience this year. My tax preparer was 50 min late to the appointment which I had booked a week in advance (and was reminded via phone and text message about). Someone from the corporate team called me 5 min before to let me know the preparer was running late, which was appreciative, and then a different person called twice during the 50 min wait to give me status updates on the preparer's arrival.
