I was told it would be $100, then it became over $500 for a rent rebate. Then, the the son of the preparer was stomping around making threats and cussing. Absolutely unpleasant experience, unprofessional. Won't be using Jackson hewit again
Unbelievable. Made a 1:00 appointment, got the confirmation email along with what paperwork to bring. Drive 20 minutes to get to their office and it’s locked up tight, no lights on, not a soul in sight, despite the fact that even the sign on the door says their hours today are 1:00 - 7:00 pm. I call the Jackson Hewitt number, explain my situation and the woman says she’ll call her manager to figure out why staff isn’t at the office. Terrible. Will never go through them again to do my taxes. They do not communicate with you at all what so ever. No phone call no email no text message and if you stop in they shoo you off like a fly. I’ll stick with doing my own taxes with Turbo.
