I've been going to H&R Block for 10+ years. I saw an advertisement from Jackson Hewitt for new clients the cost would be $49 for single W2 tax filing no additional documents. When I did my taxes the cost was $199. I told the accountant I thought it was $49 and she said you had to do your taxes before 4/1 to get that deal. I don't recall seeing that disclaimer. She reached out via TEAMS to ask if I could get the discount and the person responded "there is no discount" and that was that! I paid the $199 but I will NOT be going... read more
Had the best experience with Myisha kee. I am new out in California and she guided me and helped me understand more of the state each state have different rules what not she did a great job
Had appointment , but location was not even open. Mid day and one of the largest tax filing companies in the United States was not even open when they had active appointments. Waited 20 minutes.
