I asked the preparer about rental property losses and money from a brokerage account, and she asked me if numbers in parentheses were negative? She then shared with me that she "always has trouble with negative numbers." I had scheduled for an hour and she asked me repeatedly to leave her my forms while I go and check with my broker about how to claim capital gains or losses. NO! NO! NO!
