I had appointment for 2:00; arrived at 1:50 only to find that location had closed and was no longer there! I had text and email confirmation of my app't at that location. I finally managed to get someone at another location to answer the phone and I was able to go there but wasn't too impressed with the knowledge of the preparer. Price, considering it was 50% off, was very high. Sorry, won't be going back.
When I first went to Jackson Hewitt i was told I'm getting one amount back for state and that they would take the filing fee out. The computer went do so at had to come back when I came back my state taxes were a different amount and I had to use my card to pay and was then told something totally different on why my state tax amount changed. This had developed a trust issue and I don't even trust them to do my rental rebate. This was a bad 👎 Experience

I've been coming to Jackson Hewitt for the past 6 years and have never really had any issues with them until now. This year I went to a different location due to certain situations. During our initial conversation I let her know that I was not claiming my oldest son as a dependent since he was working and would be filing his own taxes. About a month later my son tells me his taxes were rejected because someone else claimed him so I went onto my JH to look at my paperwork and saw that my son wasn't removed.
