We went to our 11am appt at Walmart on Nichols Drive. We waited about 20 minutes no one showed. I had two emails confirming date and time. I finally called and was told no one will be there i need to drive to the other Walmart. We were so mad wasted our time. The lady I called wont mention a name said she didn't call to inform me. Quick but not made for lower earning people . I'm literally only getting 200.00 a week to live on and food stamps to get food and was charged almost 400.00 to get back only about 1,000 in taxes. I feel like it could have been way cheaper . But if your lazy and can't fill it out yourself or are extravagantly ruch they will fill out the boxes that are literally free online everywhere or at the library for free. I should have done that. I only put one star because you had to put something. We’ve been coming here for a few years. Last year our state taxes just vanished and they had no explanation & we’re kind of rude about it when we kept calling trying to find out what happened. We decided to go ahead and try for the advance again this year, we had gotten it every other year. I had my taxes filed here for this current year, yes they were accepted but my refund was significantly lower due to outrageous fees. Then somehow there was a paper filed for wv taxes but I live and work in ohio.. they “reassured me” it was ok I didn’t receive anything for it and that I didn’t pay for it. Then proceeds to tell me the reason my fees were so high was due to additional papers filed dependents etc so I’m going to go on a limb and say yes I was charged. Myself with one w2 one state and 3 dependents 600! That’s ju... read more
