I have been filing my taxes at Jackson Hewitt with Mary Jo for years. She retired 3 yrs ago. This year, I was charged an absurd amount, more than double what I paid last year. Nothing has changed, I took the exact same paperwork that I have been taking for years. I couldn't say anything to the guy charging me because it is a corporate office, and Jackson Hewitt sets the prices.
