I had a very disappointing experience at Jackson Hewitt in Dover, NH, and I would caution others before using this location. To be fair, our tax preparer, Wendy, was friendly, professional, and helpful. She found a deduction we did not know we qualified for, which saved us money. She was the one positive part of the visit. The problems were the pricing and the complete lack of support from management. When we called to make the appointment, we were told the service would probably cost around $150 to $200. Karen was amazing she was direct yet polite and made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. She also kept it real and treated me with respect knowing I was delinquent on 2024 taxes and filing for both 2024 and 2025. She not only treated me with kindness but also shared great advice on planning for the future and not putting taxes off anymore. I left feeling better about filing taxes and I would suggest her to everyone. -thank you Karen.
