My experience was better at Jackson Hewitt than the local place I went to last year. I have no complaints about my experience.
Before you head here, please know that a local tax preparer will cost way less and that JH’s advertised “as low as $49” cost is not very transparent. They will not disclose what your fee will be until after they have done your taxes and, at that point, I felt pressured to do anything other than pay the $556 cost (that’s with a $170 “discount” and paying out of pocket.
