Before you head here, please know that a local tax preparer will cost way less and that JH’s advertised “as low as $49” cost is not very transparent. They will not disclose what your fee will be until after they have done your taxes and, at that point, I felt pressured to do anything other than pay the $556 cost (that’s with a $170 “discount” and paying out of pocket. The guy was super nice it was very expensive to get taxes done
It would be 5 stars but alas there was a problem with the system letting me book an appointment when someone else already has booked it at the office. I was forced to wait an hour as the older gentleman assumed he should go first. An actual discussion would have at least made me feel a little more respected. He was a new customer and I am a long time customer. Once I was able to get my taxes done it was a fantastic professional job as usual.
I would 100% recommend this place. My family and I went yesterday to do our taxes and the guy that helped is was really helpful for us answered every question we have, and most importantly explained everything to us It was our first time going to do our taxes in person. They had stuff to keep the kids busy bc they do get ancy at times all around a great place to go
