I had gotten a refund of $493 dollars. The fee was about $400 something. After the fee I got $53. Only went to them because it was the last day to file taxes. I’ve been to several other accountants to file my taxes over the years and I’ve never seen them charge a fee of $400+. Jackson Hewitt is a complete scam and waste of time. The woman who did my taxes even agreed the fees are outrageous. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. I will never be returning here to file taxes ever again.
