After getting my taxes done at Jackson Hewitt, I ended up receiving a state tax notice stating a form was missing and I went from getting a refund to owing over $4k. The local offices are employeed by people who are disrespectful, demeaning, and belittling. I had a bad experience with "Oscar" at the Hackensack, NJ Jackson Hewitt. Oscar likes to yell at you over the phone and make demands and give orders. He cannot copy down your correct phone number, and then he never calls you back. Do not waste your money here.
