I had a really disappointing experience with Jackson Hewitt this year. I didn’t feel like I was treated with care at all. The person who did my taxes was dismissive, didn’t take the time to explain the process, and at one point was even talking on the phone with a friend while working on my return. Jane Nakazibwe was our tax preparer. My wife and I have done our own taxes in the past using Turbo Tax. We have investments and the list of 1099-"this and that" had us very frustrated. Jane has seen it all before and was not deterred a bit. She was able to get us a very nice refund and kept us entertained the whole while.
