I will never use this office or Jackson Hewitt again. Not only did these services cost us over $700, the price was not discussed in advance. When we dropped off our tax documents nothing was said or discussed in regards to pricing. I assumed the price would be reasonable and didn’t think twice about it. I was blindsided when I came in and was told the cost and asked to pay. We were only able to use one discount despite qualifying for several. We still paid over $300 for useless services. Linda was very nice, professional, informative about my tax information. She did a good job.
The two stars is for completing what we went here for, which is to get our taxes done. However, the overall experience was not great. When we first signed up for our appointment, I was impressed with the thoroughness of appointment reminders as well as a phone call the evening prior with what to bring, etc. On the day of our appointment, which was at 10:30AM, we arrived around 10:20AM.
