I have very mixed feelings about Jackson hewitt. We made an appointment for 2pm at herrera drive Walmart location. The worker told is he was too busy to deal with our appointment and suggested we try the office by target. We went to target and waited for an hour as a walk in. The nice woman working there was trying to help us but another customer was acting very angry because they wanted to be helped first even though they came in after us. We've used Jackson Hewitt for turf last 6 years, with the same couple doing them. I love the continuity of care. I feel more confident and safe than with some random purple haired 20- something who seems.... elevated? doing them.
Daniel Steward helped me out with filing my taxes and he was very cool and friendly and extremely helpful I would come back again to file with him very cool guy
Was not told about extra charges for a single form and charged an extra 350. They said taxes were done and they were not. Had to make 4 trips and pay 500. For no taxes due ( which I knew would be the case) bad experience. Will go back to doing my own taxes! Don’t believe the 149. Price ! Question the price charged before letting them do it! Had to make 4 trips for very simple taxes! ‘Glitches’.
