I’m single and raising my 10 year old great grandson. I had paid in from my SSA check. The deduction was over $900. I was expecting to get some care benefits. I wasn’t eligible. So I had to pay over $200 to the preparer. So I went in the hole. I learned a lesson though.
I had a great experience thanks to James Flores he helped me understand everything on my taxes and will recommend and return next year
Extremely disappointed, and very disgusted with Jackson Hewitt. How can someone who only has ONE W-2, No dependents, Single, No student loans, No mortgage, end up paying $450 in fees to file...Absolutely ridiculous. Even more so now a days when people are just trying to get by and think "Maybe I'll get some relief with the taxes I'll get back" but no... This company is greedy. I will NEVER use Jackson Hewitt again and WILL advice every single person I know to NOT use Jackson Hewitt.
