They used bait and switch tactics for my tax preparation. I talked to three different people while setting my appointment and getting quotes on services. Once I arrived, I was told I had to stay at the preparers desk while he did my taxes. I had been previously told I could drop off my taxes and pick them up later. The price they charged me for a simple filing ( two employers, social security, and a small pension) and no deductions was $225.00 after being quoted approximately $79.00. I got my taxes done at Jackson Hewitt this year. The experience was pleasant and the tax prep man, Cole, was professional and knowledgeable. He asked all the right questions, without being invasive, and made me feel comfortable. I’m usually on pins and needles getting taxes done. This year at Jackson Hewitt was different. I would highly recommend this company for your tax preparation anytime. I will return in the future.
