Taxes were done incorrectly which I caught after leaving office. Went back the following day and taxes were amended. Once corrected I owed a few thousand dollars to IRS whereas previous return showed me getting a small refund. I had to pay the IRS to avoid penalties. Luckily I paid for Gold Shield protection. It took 3 trips back to Texas City office and a few phone calls to get the approval for the Gold Shield Protection plan. I give this place 5 Stars!!!!!!! I normally do not file my taxes so late ever! However this time I did no choice! I believe the lady that helped me sensed that I was nervous about this, she made me so comfortable with my situation. I am very grateful for her experience. I was done in 20 minutes or less! The tax representatives were nice and they greeted you when you came in, they were pleasant employees. My feedback is with Jackson Hewitt (the company). I felt I was ripped off for the price of preparing and filing my tax return. I did not have a complicated return to prepare it was basic and the price I was charge was extreme. I don't see myself letting Jackson Hewitt do my taxes again.
