I could have paid $600 less in taxes absolutely 100% legally and saved the $280 charge for the tax service if I had done them my self. While my situation is very specific this was a literal waste of about $900 because I chose Jackson Hewitt to do my taxes. Melissa was very kind but this was one of my worst financial decisions.
