My wife filled our taxes yesterday at this location. Apparently they're server went down and no one informed us of an issue. We discovered it ourselves this morning.they offer high advances up to $3500 so they claim. I've filed with turbo tax and world finance the last few years. Both places gave advances of over $3000. Not going to discuss my return amount but the $1000 they gave us as an advance was a joke. Almost false advertisement there is no guaranteed amount. I had Melissa B. at Springville, Alabama location at Walmart do my taxes and she was absolutely AWESOME! She was kind, patient, and personable! I hope she is in sane location next year. She represents the company well. The only thing could have been better is the price for it was high compared to other places & is higher each year. It should be based on complication of filing and the income bracket. I paid $325 at their discount to be told I hit no federal snd no state. Easy to access inside Walmart. I spoke to two different people and both were friendly and helpful. Melissa made the process as pain free as possible for taxes.
I was able to walk right in without an appointment. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the tax preparer. I felt great confidence in my return and LOVED my tax refund!!!
