I stumbled into a group breathwork session of Jack's at the urging of a friend 10 years ago. It was the most profound experience of my life. He is competent as a breath worker, but not as a therapist. He is rude and verbally abusive, at least towards people who he has some personal grievance with for some reason, and finds non-threatening. He has no training or qualifications in social work, or psychology. I was an adult when I saw him, still very young, and came from an extremely abusive, dysfunctional family, and as a result couldn't determine what I should tolerate from people, and the behavior went on just about the entirety of the time I saw him in 1997.
