Authentic italian fare, not the yuppie north end crap - arancini great, mortadella with pistachio, wonderful sandwiches. When I worked at OBP, this was a twice a week lunch stop, the other days were Sammy LaGrassa and Deli Of Course - hmmmmmmmmm, no wonder I weighed 250. Since movng to New Hampshire, the food is so poorly lacking in flavor and flare, I have withered away to a paltry 180. Pace in Saugus is also very good. Must make a trip back home very soon. Somerville is calling me.

Best Sandwich In The North End!!! – I can't tell you how good this place is. Get the Big Dig (my favorite sandwich), some of their daily pasta specials or even one of their amazing calzones. When it comes to consistently knocking it out of the park, J. Pace is the place. Oh, they also do an amazing Chicken Cutlet, on a braided/seeded roll, with fresh "mutz," basil, roasted peppers, balsamic and salt/pepper. Amazing!!!
