I want to thank the J. Gordon team for repairs and support. Mike and Ted were superb with their Webasto and electrical expertise. And of course Marshall makes it all work. The entire team turned out to help us exit our slip safely in breezy conditions. Much appreciation!
Marshall and the team have been fantastic help with our mini refit of a new to us catamaran. Mechanical, fabrication, and now nav systems. Would strongly recommend these folks.
We had JGordon do quite a bit of work for us: watermaker rebuild, windlass repair, diesel heater install, and water heater replacement. First, while Marshall is very knowledgeable, he has hired junior techs to do the work, and we had to look over their shoulder for ALL of the work, having them redo parts of the installation that were poorly executed (wires run in odd places, leaking connections, etc). Dropped our generator off. Never called us with updates, always had to chase him down. It was always "we are working on it." After loosing a boating season with his run -a-round and me having to call again he said the generator was more damaged than he thought. Told him I did not want to proceed with the repair and he never responded to me again and still has my generator.
These guys are great. Reportedly been around since WWII and the quality of work and customer service reflects the long history.
