Ivy Kids Lakemont was EXCEPTIONAL. I had to find a center that was close to my job that was 45 minutes away from where I lived and I chose Ivy Kids out of the 6 I toured. The difference between the other schools and Ivy Kids Lakemont was I felt like I was dropping my son off to another mother. My son's teachers really cared and nurtured him like I would and every morning felt like the warmest handoff. Excellent staff. My son is 5 years old, he started at Ivy kids at 11months. There have been consistent staff and great events where I was able to make friends with some of the parents. We are now in the the before and after school program and they actually transport my son to school in the morning and pick him up. This is a huge help to me.
I absolutely love Ivy Kids. My baby started at 6 months and I was nervous sending him to daycare because of all the terrible things you hear and see online about daycare. However, Ivy Kids Richmond has spoiled. My son loved him so much that I’m not worried at all. The teachers and staff are amazing. I even love that. They celebrate all the big days such as back to school Father’s Day and every other special day. If I have another kid, they are definitely going to go to Ivy Kids Richmond!
Witnessed one teacher in the 3 y/o classroom yanking my son’s arms, shoving his head, moving him out of camera view, etc all in one day. When I called and expressed my concerns to the director she made nothing but excuses for the teacher and didn’t even try and rectify the situation. Needless to say, that was my son’s last day there. Even with live streaming access, I was surprised the teachers were behaving so inappropriately.
I HIGHLY recommend Ivy Kids of Lakemont. It is an excellent, accredited learning center staffed by knowledgeable and dedicated professionals who are truly invested in each child's success. My child is currently enrolled in the Kinder-bridge class and has made outstanding progress this year. The curriculum is comprehensive and engaging, and the amazing two teachers, (Tanzila and Riffat) maintain a high level of professionalism while remaining deeply committed to student development.
