My mother has been in this home for about 2 1/2 years. I was concerned about placing her into a nursing home as I was aware of the many challenges that staff were facing. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of care my mom received. When ever I had a concern, it was addressed. We have celebrated 2 birthdays for my mom....she is presently 102 yrs old....is in good condition....and enjoys life. We are very impressed by the level of care given to not only my mom but others. Every one I know ranks this home very highly.
Placing our mother, who has dementia, into long-term care was one of the hardest choices we’ve ever made. We wanted her to be safe and cared for with dignity, patience, and love — but we also knew how important it was that she remain connected to her roots. My aunt has been living there for a year now. By God's grace, we had the joy of celebrating her 100th birthday at the end of May. When it came time to plan her birthday party, I received outstanding support and assistance throughout the preparation and the celebration itself. The staff, under the leadership of Irena Markewycz, Activity Manager, and Natalia Razzaq, Program Manager, organized a beautiful greeting program complete with music and singing.
