I love the instructors at Clay Coven! They're all very helpful and knowledgeable. I took an 8 week class and we get unlimited studio time, glazing,and kiln firings for anything made during the 8 week classes. I'm now a member and as a member we also get unlimited firings/glazing. It's a great place to try ceramics or to paint a pre-made piece.
Terrible experience. I had to wait 1.5 months to get one of our pieces back. Also, they gave us the tiniest amount of clay. For $100 for two people, they should’ve been more generous. The instructor had more clay to work with than us. Also, the instructor was condescending and towards the end, she just left us to finish up on our own. She micromanaged a lot, telling us “don’t do anything unless I give you permission,” like girl we’re just having fun, please chill. I went mid March and did the beginner’s class, it was awesome. The instructor was attentive and helpful. Although there were some issues initially in finding out when my piece was complete; those issues have now been fixed. Thank you Clay Coven
