I went in to get a power of attorney notarized and was told it wasn't legal and he would have to make up one for me? the one this "lawyer" made up was almost identical to the one I brought in? I was quoted $ 50 bucks for the notary but was charged almost $300? then I found out that most lawyers do not charge to have something notarized?
