Not too Bad Fun place for a great outdoor show. I have been to several concerts at Journal, so many they've started handing me free stuff. The only down side to Journal is horrible parking! If you come to a show here bring your patience.
Albuquerque's premier music venue The Journal Pavilion is one of the best New Mexico venues for live music. It's an outdoor venue so it is not open all year around. Parking can be crazy, but it is mostly orderly. Located outside of Albuquerque, it is easy to get there via I-25. Once there it can take a while to get in and out, as there is only one entrance. concert The parking at Journal Pavilion is ridiculous, one entrance and one exit - it's like being herded like cattle. The facility and grassy area is nice though. And the staff is TERRIBLE! The over-charged me THREE times and shorted me on TWO different occasions.
Journal Pavilion, Albuquerque The Journal Pavilion offers some of the best concert experiences in the Southwest. However there are two major shortcomings about this venue. Primarily, the restroom facilities are the worst in the West. Built in the middle of nowhere, the Pavilion has not grasped the basic concept all plumbers know, water flows downhill.
