I am a new knitter and I had a wonderful time at Island Yarn Company. The yarn selection was well organized and there was a great variety of colors and material to choose from. The owner was so kind and helped me to choose a yarn that would be easy for a beginner to work with, and then set me up with a hand-written pattern and the correct needles to complete the project. I felt welcomed as a newcomer to the knitting scene, and I plan to go back as soon as I have a need for more yarn.
I was looking for a last minute birthday gift for a family member and discovered Island Yarn's lovely Knitting Advent Calendar online. I had a time crunch to get it delivered so I reached out to their team on IG. They were absolutely wonderful and had my order shipped out within less than 1 hour. Thank you ladies!! You've made one knitter very happy!
A good selection of quality yarn, with some affordable wool. Owner is kind and helpful. The yarn quality is so much better at local yarn stores!
