Couldn’t be happier with Island Trader! We have bought multiple pieces of furniture both indoor and outdoor over the past 7 years... we’ve been thrilled with price, quality and service. We have also had multiple custom cushions made through Island Trader and have been very pleased - the owner has even allowed us to provide our own fabric in a few cases (which never happens without an up charge). Definitely a custom place. So if you don’t want the stuff that everyone else has, you should give them a try.
We contracted for for four seat cushions. They were farmed out to what appears to be an incompetent seamstress. The zippers on three were installed backwards, and despite a very expensive bill we simply had to discard them. We purchased the fabric beforehand, but they asked us to pay for it again. Well meaning, I am sure, but I would advise great care and getting every detail..even the smallest in writing to be sure there are no misunderstandings.
