Update: the bank called me personally to apologies and make things right. Next time I came in they processed the wire with out issue. Previous experience: Been banking with island savings for years, recently moved to nanaimo and starting using this branch. I come in maybe once a month to send a wire, and the majority of the time I am asked to wait so other members can be serviced. For the reason that a Wire can take a few minutes. Stupidly difficult to reach for services. Prepare for long hold times. Frequent errors...frustrating.
Been banking with island savings for years, recently moved to nanaimo and starting using this branch. I come in maybe once a month to send a wire, and the majority of the time I am asked to wait so other members can be serviced. For the reason that a Wire can take a few minutes. Very helpful staff very polite. I dealt with a woman name Yulia who was very informative and helpful!!
Unfriendly and unhelpful tellers. This branch leaves a lot to be desired. Other branches are much better. Their name is Island Savings but they are owned by an American company named Tru Cooperative.
