We chose this removalist company to move our belongings from Hobart to Sydney. It took them over a month, and after that time, they contacted us to tell us that all of our belongings had been stolen. It took another month just to get some clarity, but even after two months, when we followed up, they only said they “needed more time.” Their communication has been poor and unprofessional throughout. Absolutely recommend these guys. They moved us from NSW. Clearly the best quote. They had a truck issue so it picked up a day late, but the guys went the extra mile to make sure they got us the next day so that we didn't miss the Ferry

Arrived on time. The three men didn’t speak much and never boasted about how good they were — they proved it through their actions. They worked diligently, attentively, and efficiently. For example, they grouped the parts of my bed frame and screws into a sealed bag, taped it securely, and made sure not to hit any walls while moving furniture down the stairs. We chose Island Removals because we wanted to support a Tasmanian business. It quickly became clear that we made a good decision...Nigel employs people he has a close relationship with. He coaches and builds up people to be great workers. Fantastic - I got a few quotes but very pleased I went with Nigel and his team. Nigel did the quoting and also did the pickup and drop off and all the calls and admin in between. I realised that a lot of the other companies were subcontracting to other companies but with Island Removals you were just dealing directly with Nigel and they were great - on time, reliable, reasonably priced and a caring small business. Whole job went like clockwork and dare I say - was even relaxing!!
