I saw Derek following a foot injury. He listened to me, understood the issues I was having, and helped me rehab my foot with sport-specific exercises based on what my activities were as a competitive athlete. He was compassionate, helpful, and extremely kind. I'd recommend Island PT to anyone looking for a good physical therapist.

The experience from scheduling my appointments to the PT itself was professional and personable. I was challenged to the appropriate level to give me the confidence I needed to practice on my own. If anyone needs a place for PT I would highly recommend using Island PT and don’t bother going anywhere else!

My orthopedic surgeon referred me to Derek when I was having lower back issues. Due to surgery I had to cut my sessions short. After recuperating, a neck issue popped up. I have been going to Derek for 6 visits, and with his expertise and the homework assignments, I have never been better. Derek knows what he is going and if you listen, you will get better. He is not in the business to keep you coming back unless you are getting results. In my opinion he is the BEST.. I will always use Island PT and I will always refer them ... read more
