If you’re considering Island Photography, read this carefully. I’m a proud Syracuse University graduate and a U.S. military veteran — I believe in honoring achievement, respecting families, and doing business with integrity. Sadly, Island Photography operates with none of that. Let me explain exactly how they prey on graduates: Here’s the breakdown of their pricing: • 1 Digital Image: $49.95 • 2 Digital Images: $89.95 • All Digital Images: $139.95 to $159.95 Keep in mind — these are digital downloads. No physical product, no... read more
⸻ It’s honestly baffling how your company manages to stay in business with the volume of scathing 1-star reviews you’ve accumulated. Charging $90 for two basic digital photo downloads is not just overpriced — it’s outright obscene. Let’s break it down. Capturing graduation photos doesn’t require a Hollywood production team. Reviews speak for themselves. My first photographer for my senior portraits was friendly, though I hated the way my photos came out for their (extremely over) priced cost. Island Photography definitely exploits their costumers, particularly college students, allowing them to make their photo packages extremely high. I had scheduled to get my photos retaken and then when I arrived, the photographer asked me to come back at a different time so she could have lunch. I had a commitment afterwards and could not make the change. I... read more
I would not have guessed any of the photos of my daughter at her college graduation were professionally taken as there were only four photos taken. Two were at terrible angles, one we had taken on our own, leaving the posed photo as the only one left. After purchasing digital download realized one eye has a glowing pupil and you can't see the other eye due to glare on glasses. For $50 for one digital download you should have much better photos available. Never have seen other photo shops selling such poor quality pictures.
Island Photography has a 2 star rating with 201 reviews.
