Penny is FANTASTIC. She taught me so much about water colour and I had such a great time each week relaxing and painting in her beautiful workshop. Amazing artist and lovely woman. I will be back for another class!
Penny’s classes far exceeded my expectations! Got the classes as a gift from my husband as I’d started to dabble with watercolor, learning from the copious social media methods. My progress was slow. Penny is an incredible teacher and very talented artist at Island Girl Art Studio! She makes every class feel welcoming and fun. With her patient guidance and encouragement, I have been learning in both acrylic and watercolor and created pieces I never thought I could paint. Penny has a gift for breaking things down step by step while still encouraging you to explore your own creativity. Her passion for art is contagious!
I took two watercolor classes at the start of the year and am signing up for a third. Penny is a great teacher and creates a real community. I’ve made friends and my skills grow at a surprising rate. Looking forward to seeing what’s next at her studio!!
