Today was our second ferry ride with Island Express. The first was Beaufort to Shackleford. Today we went to Cape Lookout and caught the beach shuttle. Our driver, Eddie, took us out and also brought us back. Eddie was OUTSTANDING to say the least. He was efficient, friendly and funny. We appreciate his professionalism and knowledge. I learned a lot in the short time that we interacted with him. If you take the beach shuttle be sure to look for Eddie and tell him the Martins sent you!

I took a ferry from Beaufort to Shackleford banks with my dog. I love that it is dog friendly. Only $7 to take my dog along. I got to stay on Shackleford banks for hours and they have a ferry back every 30 minutes. I got to collect a lot of shells and conch shells. Worth the money. $24 a person.
Absolutely, the best time ever. These staff was more than accommodating, and the information that was given as the tour went on. Yeah, it was absolutely perfect.If you haven't done this, you need to.This is a must for this area.
