I was scared but after some time, I was ok and it was actually really nice. The strip was ok. Stopped to the General Store and all of their bottled drinks were out of date so I couldn't get one after asking the clerk did they have more. She directed me to fountain drink. Uhhh no thank you.
And old school business where the prices are reasonable and the people are friendly - what a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be back. We saw about 8 horses and found all kinds of cool shells. Thanks!!!
Cape Lookout and Shackleford are possibly some of the most serene places on earth. Worth the out of state adventure every time. The staff on land and on the boats are friendly and very knowledgeable about the islands.
