I’ve always heard good things. I just stopped in and got a chili cheese burger. They must have gotten it out of the fridge. It was STONE COLD 🤢 EDIT The owner contacted me almost immediately after I posted this review. He insisted on a refund, and asked me to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves. I went back today, and I did repeat my order of a 1/4 pound chili cheeseburger. I have to say - it was very good. I apologize for my post last night; I was miffed AND hangry. 😳
We had our first trip to Dauphin Island and I heard about “breakfast at the Chevron” Told my crowd about it and they all balked. I begged them to go, but we never did. So... on our way out yesterday morning, I told them I was stopping to get some grit casserole and tomato gravy. They obliged me and all sat it the cars while I went in. I ate part of it while they pumped gas. Saved the rest in the cooler to bring home.
