We rented from Island cars for our roadtrip in Kauai. They offer the best prices on the island. They let us upgrade our car since the car we initially booked did not have all the features we wanted. The place is a short ride from the airport which makes it convenient for pickup and drop off. The staff are friendly.

So I went in the month of September. This was my first time using this service they picked me up at the airport The lady who picked me up was really kind and sweet. She gave us a car that was small and wasn't promised. We fixed that in minutes. She gave us Ron's of information on qhere to visit on her experience ( it was greatly appreciated. We rented a car last minute during our last day on the island. They picked us up right from where we called and took us to get our car. While we were there, the man who was helping us got out a map and recommended us many places to visit, which we did! The car ran great with no issues. Once we returned the car, we were speedily taken back to the cruise port in time for our ship’s departure. Overall a great experience!!

We are frequent travelers to Kauai and Island cars is exactly what we need: a professional, local operation with "island style" rental cars at better rates than big corporate companies. We like that the cars have character, some bumps scratches. The owners are very kind and helpful! We trust them and recommend Island Cars!
