I can only judge them by what they weren't able to do versus what they could do. I was looking to opening an account for historical purposes, as it is the last black-owned bank in Chicago. They don't have a way to start an account online, so I had to go in. Their systems were down, so I couldn't do that or get a mortgage loan application started. My mama has had an account with this bank since she was 18 she is 73. These people are the worse. This bank is horrible it has no structure and the staff are even worse. Can't even get a paper application. They dont even know each other names. They should just close.
Warning!!!I’ve had a long-standing account with this bank that I opened years ago when I saw them on TV and wanted to support them. Since then, the bank has changed names and is now operating as BN Bank. Unfortunately, their customer service is nonexistent. Edited review: I wish I could give it zero stars. I don't know when I made this previous post but today I've experienced the worst service ever. First thing Monday morning I am switching accounts. Today I came in the bank to get cash out, I filled out a withdrawal slip and handed the lady my city of Chicago identification card like i normally do.
