Whilst living in Kangara Waters is pleasant we are in fact trapped here as we get no capital gain on our apartment. In the time we have been in KW, the price of our apartment has risen from $560,000 to nearly $1million and we get none of the gains. If we wanted to move elsewhere comparable apartments have also risen in price so we are trapped at KW until death do us part.
Kangara Waters is a wonderful place, with friendly & helpful staff, good facilities and community programs, good maintenance & gardening. The gardens and location are beautiful and the other residents are friendly & helpful. There is a cafe on site and a gym and pool. There are regular visits from hairdresser, fitness instructors, a physiotherapist, etc. There is also a nursing home on site. It is well worth the cost.
