I have been waiting to get my taxes since March of 2024. I have called and emailed every number that I can find for the IRS and cannot reach anyone. I have now received three letters from them stating that they are extending my taxes another 60 days but no explanation and my tax preparer has no idea why I haven’t received them yet as there was no problem with my state taxes. This place is a joke.
Absolutely incompetent people who work here. They lie about EVERYTHING. Legal documents you get FROM the IRS will say one thing and when you call they say the complete opposite then get attitude and hang up because you're not understanding how nothing in your paperwork is the same as when they're saying.
