I have been trying for months. I can not get a hold of anyone. I have verified and all my status says is "received". This has never happened before. I was always able to call the IRS in the years past. What has happened to our government!?!
There is no way to get a hold of a representative. I have been trying for 4 months.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Filed my 2025 taxes on 3/12/2026 (well before the deadline) with turbo tax and a little over a month later (4/27) i received a letter in the mail saying they are reviewing my taxes and that it may take up to 60 days for my refund now. the worst part is theres no way of talking to an actual person on the phone about my taxes, only auto generated questions that prompts you to look at their website. I received a letter saying They couldn’t identify me and needed information about my 2022 return. I called every day for four days trying to get through and eventually got through and was placed on hold for forty minutes and then the office hung up on me. This place is a joke!
