I had an extremely disappointing experience at the IRS office in Town and Country. I came in after being directed by the IRS phone system to seek in-person help, but the employee I dealt with, named Shive, was rude, dismissive, and refused to assist with anything. She claimed the staff "aren’t allowed to do anything," which completely contradicts the purpose of in-person visits. This location and the woman and security guard are very rude. The security officer's job seems to be to get everyone to leave that doesn't have an appointment. If you choose to wait they remind you often that you probably won't be helped. I chose to wait and was helped within a normal time frame and without anyone else in the waiting area. Everyone else had been scared off. When I got into the woman's office, I was hopeful that my issue would be heard and resolved. Security guard chased me out after I asked about my taxpayer assistant being recorded voice/video Felt very Soviet. My constitutional rights were violated in accordance to the freedom of information act. Fascist behavior. Expect better. I read the other reviews and they are dead on. Biggest babies I’ve dealt with in my adult life and the security guard who searched me like I was boarding Air Force one. WHAT HAPPENED TO PUBLIC SERVICE PRIDE
