I couldnt disagree more. I am trying to expand my business and they have done nothing but give great advice. SBA is a choice and in Iowa we have a lot of banks who participate in the program. If you are looking for information regarding a loan for your business this is a great place to start. They are very well informed with programs and can help just about anyone I think. Plus they keep in contact and seem to really care about your venture and personal needs.
I purchased a business 4 years ago and used a SBA 504 loan. In Iowa, you are forced to use Iowa Business Growth Company. They are the most rude and inconsiderate people while providing horrible customer service. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have used Iowa Business Growth and not have used a SBA loan. I thought the SBA was to help small businesses, but this company is not out to help anyone. I had higher expectations for an Iowa company but have been greatly disappointed.
