I was having an issue with paying my mortgage online. I called in and spoke with Kristi and she was extremely helpful & very courteous. I will continue to choose Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corp because of the staff treats you like a person, not a number. Thank you again Kristi for going above and beyond to assist me.
They love nailing people with escrow shortages and ramping up their payments automatically. It's how they stay in business. I'll be shopping around for another lender. They won't return calls either.
I seen all the bad reviews on here and I was worried about getting my check signed. I called on Monday morning and got a live person and she told me the days they sign checks. They put me down and drove down here at the time and got it signed and it was the easiest thing I had ever done. 10 stars!!!!
I called on a Wednesday to let them know I would be there on Friday to have an insurance check signed. They told me they don’t sign checks on Fridays. They told me I could mail in my $17,000 check or drop it off and go back and get it when they let me know it was ready. Both of these options were extremely inconvenient as I live 45 miles away and have no confidence in the mail system. Every time I have called they never have a person who speaks Spanish. Then they leave you on hold for a long time. It is frustrating that a bank does not have employees who speak Spanish. . When here in Iowa there are many Hispanics
