Inwood house was a good house with respectable staff that actually cares. Nobody can beat inwood house in caring for young teen moms. Inwood house is better than covenant house for young mothers in nyc. Upon seeing someone's review saying that they closed sucks... I remember having been there nine years ago with my first kid and I even made a friend there and had to make staff change a few rules lmao... I felt alive and more happy being there then with my own mother (mom issues)

Cried yesterday when I found out Inwood House has been closed for years. God knows If I ever win the lottery I am going to buy that building back and bring back Inwood House herstory. I was rape at 15yrs old on my sister birthday November 25,1981 my mom waited 6mos to see if i was pregnant from the rape and instead of getting rid of it she told me i will keep it and suffer no calling the police, no prenatal care she took me to the court house and sign over her rights told them she didn't want me and left me there.
