I work for a small not-for-profit. We provide meals for people in need in our community, focusing on at-risk youth. We have used Quickbooks desktop versions for over 25 years, that is until we were forced to begin using their Quickbooks online program as they stopped support of the last desktop version. I’ve been an Intuit customer for well over 10 years, using QuickBooks and other Intuit products for my business. I never thought the hardest part would be trying to leave. I paid for Workforce Elite for over a year while not even using it because I knew canceling would probably be a hassle. When I finally decided to cancel, I spent hours looking for a Cancel button that simply wasn’t there. I paid extra for the "Accurate Calculations and 100% Accurate, Expert Approved Guarantees" and its a joke because I needed a tax professional to help me with the solar energy tax credit part of my taxes. Thank goodness my iPhone had the ability to records. The agent fumbled around with that portion of my 2023 taxes for four hours and I had 2% confidence she knew what she was doing.
