At first, I struggled with the interlock device — it was difficult to get it to register my breath, and the loud prompts caused me quite a bit of stress. After sharing my concerns, the company reached out to me directly. They were extremely attentive, kind, and responsive. Basically receive an aneurysm or getting hemorrhoids from trying to just start my car. I have to blow about three tries every single time I’m prompted to blow. Horrible system. Louder than the music goes when it beeps. Caused more anxiety than driving around drunk drivers. The prompted beeping causes so much anxiety (especially after taking the THREE WHOLE tries trying to get it to register my breaths…) that I feel I’m less safe driving with this pointless device than if I actually did drive intoxicated.
